Inspectors

David Roos – Inspector and Owner
David has performed hundreds of home inspections.
He is a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), the most selective association of inspectors. Prior to doing home inspections commercially, David got his experience by maintaining and remodeling his family's investment properties in central Denver. He has also done a variety of remodeling and finish projects in his own home.

He was trained in inspection by Inspection Training Associates, the only ASHI-certified trainer.

He holds a bachelor’s degree with high honors from
New Mexico State University where he attended on academic scholarships.

David and his wife Deb are parents to two small kids. For fun David eats Mexican food, bicycles, reads, and travels to Latin America.
He is a native of Littleton, Colorado.

Tech Team

Greg Blakely - Electrician
Greg is a licensed journeyman electrician in Colorado. He received his technical training in the U.S. Navy and then worked in commercial construction upon his return to Colorado. In addition to electrical expertise, Greg has remodeled kitchens and baths, and has done other residential projects like concrete flatwork and tiling.

In his spare time Greg is a 4-wheel drive mechanic and a mountain bike racer. Greg has lived in Littleton since middle school.

Pat Bruckhart – Energy Efficiency Engineer
Pat holds a masters degree in mechanical engineering from CSU. He consults to school districts and commercial institutions regarding the efficiency of their heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. He has done many residential projects, preferring to use recycled materials whenever possible.

For fun, Pat builds cedar strip canoes and tends a large garden.

Scott Shoemaker – Construction Manager
Scott owns a construction management consultancy.

Previously Scott held roles at Jacobs Engineering, one of the world's largest technical and construction and engineering firms, for over 10 years. He managed projects for Englewood schools, Denver Health, and the Suncor refinery renovation. Scott has considerable residential experience as well, having remodeled kitchens, bathrooms, windows and other various projects. He was previously owner of a deck building company.

Scott is father to a 2-year old and he does custom woodworking. He has lived in Denver since grade school.
